2 Popular Kayak Launch Locations on Lake Lanier

Interested in kayak fishing on Lake Lanier and don’t know where to start?

Figuring out a fishing strategy for Lake Lanier can be a daunting task because it’s big and busy. In fact, Lake Lanier is one of the highest traffic’d lakes in the state of Georgia. So not only is it difficult to sometimes locate fish, it’s also dangerous to be kayaking in high traffic’d boating lanes.

However, fishing on Lake Lanier can be outstanding at times. Lanier is home to a very healthy population of striped bass, spotted bass and crappie. Not only can you catch a good quantity of fish, but you can also catch some rather large fish.

In this video I outline some of my favorite kayak launch locations on Lake Lanier and why.
