GKF Great Smoky Mountains Camp n Paddle 2020 in the Shearwater 125 – In this video, I join Georgia Kayak Fishing on their annual GSMNP Camp n Paddle. This is a 3 day, 2 night camping, fishing and kayaking adventure into the GSMNP wilderness. The drone shots were taken with a Mavic Mini, which was launched from the Shearwater 125 Kayak (not land.) Did you know the Mavic Mini only weighs 249 grams (.549 pounds)? Which in many countries may exempt it from flight regulations. 😉 But the Mavic Mini sure takes nice pictures and videos! I was also using the Bixpy Jet Electric Motor on this trip to handle the long distances. Sure I’m capable of paddling 10+ miles on this trip? But why do that when you can use the Bixpy Motor to do the work for you, then use your free hands to fish and fly a Mavic Mini? Eagle Creek and the Lost Cove were beautiful! The fish were stacked up in the cove but it was very tough to get them to bite. Thanks to everyone at Georgia Kayak Fishing for making this kind of event possible!
