This is a compilation video of my 2014 trip to Destin Florida. I’m fishing from just off the sandbar out to a few miles out. The Mackerel were on fire! I got hit or hooked up with a mackerel on nearly every fresh bait that I dropped. The amberjacks were thick off of the Destin Reefs. I also hooked a few sharks… one of which well over 6 feet in length. I didn’t get those sailfish or blackfin tunas that I was looking for. But the Guys at Half Hitch Tackle say when you’re catching mackerel, you’ll also get other pelagic species as well. A big thanks to them for their knowledge! Also a big thanks to Emerald Coast Scuba for giving me a jig to catch amberjack and keeping us company while out on the Ms Louise Tugboat Reef. I’ll share a reef with you guys anytime!
