Kayak fishing in Destin Florida. I trolled bait out to the reef, got to the reef and dropped a down line. As soon as I hit the reef I began reeling in the trolling line when I felt a huge bite. It felt like my bait got hit by a car. Then the fight was on. I only got a glimpse of Mr Grey but he was easily bigger than me… 6’+. Luckily… I didn’t land this monster. It snapped my 80lb braid above the leader (probably with a swipe from it’s tail). This was hands down the toughest fight I’ve ever had from a Kayak! So… in tribute to Shark Week and one of my all time favorite movies… I added some fun audio for your enjoyment!
