Kayak Fishing in Destin Florida. I’m paddling a little over a mile off the beach, trolling a pink duster rig with a live baitfish. There are schools of bait fish running up and down the beach. I’m using a sabiki rig to catch a bait, then putting it on the duster and trolling it out to 60 feet of water. Dead baits are working, but the live baits are definitely the superior bait. The king mackerel have been very aggressive. I’ve caught and landed several in the past few days.
